Charlotte Free is breaking all the rules and writing her own as she quickly climbs the ranks to become the next “it” model. She’s young, has wild pink/blonde hair and has a very unique style. Her personality is just as wild as her hair, and she’s not afraid to speak her mind and show it.
Her wild child attitude is why I love her so much. More people, especially women, need to just be themselves and stop trying to conform to what society wants them to be. Be a free spirit! Who cares what everyone else thinks? It’s your life so go ahead and own it! Kudos to Charlotte and anyone else who is bold enough to live like a free spirit, I love those kinds of people.
Charlotte has recently landed ad campaigns with Rihanna for River Island and H&M S/S 2013, commercials for Maybelline and even the cover of Flare magazine. She is definitely a model worth following because even though she is a wild child, she’s making a name for herself as she rocks the runways, works the camera and owns her style.

Say what? Yeah girl it’s true. It might be all about the guys next season of Top Model if Tyra Banks’ manager approves of this mighty change to the series. But lemme’tell you. If there is going to be an all-male cycle of the super-franchise: America’s Next Top Model, then they better let Canadians audition too, because I’m so jumping on this band wagon if they call it so.
I mean, they have supermodel Rob Evans already on the juging panel, so why wouldn’t see all of his goodness and want to make an all-male cycle? Tyra’s got her head in the right place as she says: “I’ve been wanting to do it for quite some time and, yes, I’m the boss. But I have a boss and I have to convince him that a male version will do really well. … I haven’t done a good enough job of convincing my boss, but I’m not giving up. Hopefully a male version will be sooner than later!”
YES YES YES. Please, Mr.Boss man, make all of our dreams come true with an all-male cycle of Top Model, it’ll really freshen up the series to a whole new level and really bring forth a new demographic to come and watch the series. I know that it’ll be super entartaining to see 13 gawky, awkward studs trying to be the next Tyson Beckford.

Ouuu we got some spoilers up in herrr! Read at your own risk if you haven’t already watched the finale or been spoiled by a 12 year old antm-fanatic from on the internet!
So it was down to the fierce bottom two! Personally, the title could have gone to either of the girls, as they were both very strong contenders in the competition. Sophie had the whole ‘pixie, fun, girlie look with a high fashion twist’ whereas Laura had the ‘rock, punk, “I couldn’t give two flying Fendi’s about you” style, with a beautiful, unconventional elegance to her look.
Alas, who could have won? The American, Laura? Or the Brit, Sophie?

to where it needs to be.
1. What exactly are you (VisiV) doing for JRW Beauty?
Adrian Nguyen(Co-Founder, VisiV Media): Through our team efforts, we plan on going
full scale like never before. We’ll be able to provide the print and digital media geared
towards all forms of distribution and viewable on all devices.
Not only will the media we provide be ready for commercial distribution but distribution
through mobile devices. With the advent of technology, we’ll be able to harness the full
power of these devices and make JRW Beauty even more known all the while reaching
across multiple provinces and appealing to all ages.
David Nguyen(Founder/Operations Director, VisiV Media ): We will be shooting an
entire series called “JRW Beauty’s Next Top Model” on the latest gear. For all the tech
addicts out their, we’ll be shooting most of the series on the 5D MK III, T2i, and L-series
glass.
This will not only guarantee the quality and production value, but it’ll also allow it to
survive the final processing and still display the best quality it can. We want this project
to survive time.
2. Explain what happened when you were approached, what happened?
David: It all came by so fast. It was only after we did the Opening piece to this year’s
Unbound 2012 Fashion Show was when we were finally getting noticed. Joshua
approached us with so much passion and excitement and we couldn’t help but feel the
same way!
He presented us the project and immediately after hearing it, we couldn’t refuse. We
went home and got the team together immediately.
3. Why did you Joshua decide to approach David and his Team at VisiV?
Joshua: For a person to truly be an artist, they need one key trait, which is passion. After watching the pre mood video at Unbound 2012 Fashion Show, I knew that David and his team had the passion and talent that I was looking for. The video was beautifully pieced together and invoked so much emotion and artistry; I knew that there was no other person who would fit this film series (JRW Beauty’s Next Top Model) better. After approaching David and witnessing his enthusiasm on the project, I knew that we were going to create something fabulous!

“My name is Doyin Onile and I am 20 years old. I was born in Toronto and spent most of my life in Brampton Ontario. I currently attend Fanshawe College for Fashions Merchandising and enjoy every day I spend in the program. I am currently working with a marketing company called Advantage Sales and Marketing, where I am sent to different walmarts in a certain area to promote different products to customers. I have promoted/ worked for many different companies through ASM and enjoy the opportunities I get in working with them.
I am a strong person, whether it be in a physical manner of a mental manner I am a fighter. Being strong and pushing for what I want is a great strength I have in me. Things have not always been easy which is why I have always been raised to first, think positive in everything I do and second, never give up if you want it. These assets of mine will help me in this modeling competition because I know I want this. I am a confident individual and I believe that in this modeling competition a positive & ready individual, ready to do all that they need to win, is the one to beat. I could be this person.”

Introducing another finalist for JRW Beauty’s Next Top Model!
“My name is Mersiha Vrsajevic, I am currently not enrolled in any school program and am not attending school. I however graduated from Oakridge High School in 2005.
I have been employed at Zaras cafe and catering since October 2011, I am a full time supervisor there. I was born in Bosnia and have been in Canada since I was 9 years old.
I want to be a model because it is my passion. I love to entertain and have loved being in front of a camera for a long time. Modelling is a hobby for me and I have been busy the past couple of years and was unable to pursue my passion and JRW Beauty’s Next Top Model seemed to me the perfect way to get back into it and have a blast as well!
I believe my strongest asset is that I am very versatile and have a unique look and that could help me in the competition a lot since each photo shoot that I have done in the past, I look different in each picture and that is very useful to any photographer as they can do more different looks and shoots using only one model. I also have been told that my eyes are one of my big assets as well, because they are powerful and are a feature that really stands out. The eyes will also be a big help in the competition since I believe they could really be brought out and look fabulous being done by the amazing team of make up artists that JRW Beauty’s team has to offer! Best of luck to all the models and I look forward to the start of the competition!

“Enrolled in Fashion Design at Fanshawe College. From Alliston, Ontario
I have a strong love for photography and the creative arts. After taking a shot at being a model with JRW Beauty’s Imperfect Mannequin, I found I had a love for being on the other side of the camera as well. Girls love to dress up and look pretty or even different then they do from everyday life, and photos capture that moment in a work of art.
My strongest asset is my confidence. When it is time to shine I click on and do what I need to do. Whether I look like a fool or am rocking an amazing outfit I will work it and make it look fierce. I believe this will help me push myself in the competition and with the help of the JRW Beauty team I can bring my confidence to pull off each of the looks we will be challenged to.”
