The JRW team are proud to pronounce that UNBOUND13 was extraordinary. This year’s show had such an array of beautiful, creative pieces which truly inspired us all. Here are a few pictures of these astounding pieces.
Fanshawe College’s Fashion Merchandising program has partnered up with Good Will for seven years now holding a charity fashion show for a wonderful organization called My Sister’s Place. My Sister’s Place is a shelter for women who are homeless, abused or at a educational disadvantage. The women create jewelry for others to buy, in order to bring in a profit for the women. Where the show comes into play, is where the profits from the people who come in and see the show are automatically generated for My Sister’s Place in the hopes that the money will assist the women there.
The looks from the show were completely fabricated from re-used clothing from Good Will! A fabulous opportunity for exposure for Good Will and for the School’s program. The clothing was absolutely fabulous and was definitely New York, Paris or London worthy.
The most exciting news for us, at JRW Beauty, is that our very own stylist, Matthew, won best look for 2012! A huge congratulations for his hard work and dedication to fashion and being creative!

Peplum dresses are an excellent choice for curvy women!
This dress in particular is figure flattering and has a lot of distraction areas because of the stripes and angles. It keeps your eyes moving. I love this dress because it gives me more hips, and it has a nice shape and structure to it!
You can still wear floral print for fall, especially when it’s a darker print. The key is to wear floral with a darker colour, and even add a fun twist with some socks!
Recently just came across this video, and honestly am speechless.
Devastating. Lauren has been such a huge influence on my decision to pursue makeup artistry and this video just killed me. Whether this is real or not, this message is beyond powerful and gave me chills. Myself and the team send all our love and support <3
You can wear black and still have your fun pop of colour for summer. The key to this look is the Salmon Bandeau and Headband. I saved money with this look by making the headband, the vintage black top was free from my mothers closet, and the bandeau was only four dollars!
Say what? Yeah girl it’s true. It might be all about the guys next season of Top Model if Tyra Banks’ manager approves of this mighty change to the series. But lemme’tell you. If there is going to be an all-male cycle of the super-franchise: America’s Next Top Model, then they better let Canadians audition too, because I’m so jumping on this band wagon if they call it so.
I mean, they have supermodel Rob Evans already on the juging panel, so why wouldn’t see all of his goodness and want to make an all-male cycle? Tyra’s got her head in the right place as she says: “I’ve been wanting to do it for quite some time and, yes, I’m the boss. But I have a boss and I have to convince him that a male version will do really well. … I haven’t done a good enough job of convincing my boss, but I’m not giving up. Hopefully a male version will be sooner than later!”
YES YES YES. Please, Mr.Boss man, make all of our dreams come true with an all-male cycle of Top Model, it’ll really freshen up the series to a whole new level and really bring forth a new demographic to come and watch the series. I know that it’ll be super entartaining to see 13 gawky, awkward studs trying to be the next Tyson Beckford.
